1. Purpose

The Decisions & Committees Module (CDMP - Continuous Decision Making Process) formalizes major project choices—such as design changes, budget reallocations, vendor selections, or site safety policies—through structured proposals, committee reviews, and recorded voting sign-offs.

2. How It Works

  1. Decision Proposal: A team member or manager submits a Decision Proposal outlining the issue, proposed resolution, financial impact, and voting deadline.
  2. Committee Review: An assigned committee (e.g. Technical Review Committee, Finance Board) reviews the proposal and casts votes (Approve, Reject, Abstain).
  3. Recorded Sign-off: Once the voting threshold is met, the decision status converts to Approved / Enforced, locking an immutable audit record.

3. How It Helps

  • Eliminates Unilateral Mistakes: Requires formal committee consensus for high-stakes financial or structural decisions.
  • Audit-Ready History: Gives stakeholder clients complete visibility into why and when major choices were made.
  • Clear Accountability: Every vote and comment is permanently recorded with user timestamps.
